Primary school is in full swing, with all the associated sport, concerts, mischievousness and other pre-teen trials and tribulations. Tweens are beginning to develop into young adults so basic reading and writing skills have been mastered and learning games and toys are more advanced.

DVD’s, series and movies are also popular with 8-11 year old kids, such as High School Musical, which may encourage kids to take up singing or playing an instrument.
